Assets School is holding its annual Illumination Gala and Virtual Auction to help cover the rising need for student financial aid. For the first time in two years, Illumination Gala will be hosted in-person at the Pacific Club on Saturday April 9. Tickets for the gala are sold out, however Assets invites the community to support their students through its Illumination Virtual Auction Website.

“Year-over-year, one-third of the students attending Assets School receive financial aid,” said Ryan Masa, head of school. “The number of requests for financial aid has soared since the pandemic so we are moving forward with the auction virtually and hope the community will take part in an exciting opportunity to learn about the school as well as bid on some great items and experiences.”

The auction features staycations, getaways, artwork, collectibles, jewelry, and many one-of-a-kind items. To participate, register at assetsschool.givesmart.com. Every donation and winning bid provides much-needed tuition assistance to students and families for whom an Assets education is a necessity, not a luxury. Assets School specializes in students who have dyslexia and other language-based differences, and more than 95% of its graduates go on to college.

The online auction closes Saturday April 9 at 8:30 p.m.
