Alfred Apaka statue unveiled at the Hilton Hawaiian Villiage, son Jeff Apaka placed the leis presented by friends relatives and supporters. Jeff was really happy with the statue.

Jeff Apaka, middle, was not only the host of the Kaimuki Park stage of the Celebrate Kaimuki Kanikapila, he was a spectator as he sits and watches performance by The Movement Centerl, while sitting with the Mini Movers group of the TMC. The Celebrate Kaimuki Kanikapila featureds a craft fair and street festival in the middle of Kaimuki town with live music, dance performances, crafts, services and a variety of food booths.

The duo sang "My Isle of Golden Dreams," one the songs his father sang. Alfred Apaka would have celebrated his 93rd birthday on March 19.
