Cloudy, rainy weather to continue Wednesday for Hawaii
The National Weather Service in Honolulu has canceled a flood advisory for Hawaii County this afternoon.
The advisory, which was initially effective until 5:30 p.m., was dropped about 4 p.m.
Forecasters said this afternoon’s rainy and cloudy weather pattern will be repeated Wednesday afternoon, with more “inland cloud and shower development as well as the potential for isolated thunderstorms over upslope sections of the Big Island. “
They expect a more-typical moderate tradewind weather pattern will return Thursday when showers will remain focused over windward and mauka areas.
