Brown water advisory issued for Laniakea on Oahu’s North Shore
The state Department of Health’s Clean Water Branch issued a brown water advisory this morning for Laniakea on Oahu’s North Shore due to runoff.
Officials said high surf has resulted in runoff entering the coastal waters.
The public is advised to stay out of floodwaters and runoff due to possible overflowing cesspools, sewer, manholes, pesticides, animal fecal matter, pathogens and associated flood debris.
