>> Milwaukee second baseman Kolten Wong returned from the injured list on Friday. He promptly went 3-for-5 in the leadoff spot and scored twice in the Brewers’ 11-6 win over Cincinnati.
>> The Carolina Mudcats sent outfielder Micah Bello to the Arizona Complex League’s Brewers Gold team on a rehab assignment. He is 5-for-10 with three runs scored and two stolen bases in three games.
>> Waiakea graduate Kala‘i Rosario has hit safely in his past 11 games for the FCL Twins to raise his batting average to .319. He’s tied for the league lead with 13 RBIs and ranks fifth in total hits with 15.
>> Edgar Barclay made two relief appearances for the Tampa Tarpons last week, allowing no hits over seven shutout innings with 12 strikeouts and two walks. The St. Joseph alum lowered his ERA from 3.09 to 2.57 and tied his season high with seven K’s over four innings against the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
