Kaiser Permanente to resume normal operation hours at 4 Hawaii clinics

Normal operations will be resuming at four Kaiser Permanente clinics after being affected because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Starting Sept. 13, the Hawaii Kai and Waimea clinics will fully reopen for five days per week.

Starting July 6, the Kailua Clinic will reopen for primary care, pharmacy and lab services from Monday through Friday. On Aug. 2, the Kihei Clinic will reopen for the same services, but on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

“We are extremely grateful to our physicians, providers and staff for their dedication and flexibility during the last year,” said John Yang, president and medical director, Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, in a statement. “For many of us this has been the most challenging year of our health care careers. It is very gratifying to be getting back to some sense of normal and a pleasure to be welcoming back our members and patients to our smaller facilities.”
