So Tommy Waters is being challenged and it has been ruled that he is ineligible to run for another term in the Honolulu City Council. Did Tommy feel that he was above the law?
I still can’t get past him spearheading a 60% pay increase that will increase to 80% over time. This at a time when the city can’t maintain our infrastructure. At a time when local families are struggling to feed their families and pay their electricity bill and constantly increasing property tax. Many local families can no longer afford to live in Hawaii and, as a last resort, decide to relocate to the mainland.
I applaud the ruling that disallows Waters from running for a third term. We, the citizens of Honolulu, can’t afford another Waters term.
