Girl, 12, arrested for driving motor vehicle without permission from owner
A 12-year-old girl was apparently driving a motor vehicle without permission from its owner early this morning in Kapahulu.
Police arrested the child at 6:35 a.m. on suspicion of first-degree unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, a Class C felony.
Police later downgraded the offense, and she was charged with second-degree unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, which is a misdemeanor.
