Letter: State should charge fee for Ho‘omaluhia entry

I live near Ho‘omaluhia Botanical Garden. As it’s become a popular destination for tourists and locals, why doesn’t the state charge a per-automobile fee like $1 per car and locals with ID free? It could go a long way to supplement the cost of the park’s operation.
