Dancers with HeartBeat 24/7 performed Saturday during the Urban Makahiki event at Aala Park. HeartBeat is a free dance program for intellectually challenged individuals ages 12 and up, and works directly with the renowned 24-VII Danceforce of Kaneohe. The event was a day of games, live performances and cultural demonstrations to highlight the rich history of the ahupuaa of Kapalama and Nuuanu.
