Pedestrian, moped rider seriously injured in Iwilei collision
A female pedestrian, 66, and a male, 63, driving a moped were both injured Thursday night in a collision in Iwilei and taken to a trauma hospital in serious condition.
The incident occurred about 7:20 p.m. at 500 N. Nimitz Highway.
The moped driver was not wearing a helmet.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services treated both people with advanced life support.
