City’s newest facility ʻAʻala Respite is unveiled

Mayor Rick Blangiardi and Governor Josh Green, M.D. unveil ʻAʻala Respite, the City’s newest facility providing shelter and medical respite care to Oʻahu’s homeless population. The facility, which is being managed by Dr. Scott Miscovich and Premiere Medical Group Hawaiʻi, features roughly 30 medical treatment beds and 30 kauhale (tiny homes) for use as transitional housing.
