Aloha Festivals kicked off Saturday with the Royal Court investiture, a stately ceremony that honors Hawaii’s alii (ruling chiefs) and members of the court. Then came the opening ceremony which featured hula and mele by Halau Hula o Maiki at the Royal Grove at the Royal Hawaiian Center
