Firefighters responding to another Kauai brush fire
Multiple units are responding tonight to a brush fire that broke out off Kokee Road.
It is the third fire on Kauai this week. The other two have been 100% contained.
Kokee Road is closed from Kekaha Road to Waimea Canyon Drive until further notice.
Officials with the Kauai Island Utility Cooperative said tonight there are no fire-related power outages at this time.
Fire officials plan to deploy air assets at first light Friday morning to assist in the firefighting effort.
Officials ask the public to remain vigilant and stay tuned to local media for updates.
