More than 60 veterans prepare to board a chartered Boeing 787 provided by American Airlines, flying from Dallas to France on May 31. The party included six Medal of Honor winners from wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam and two “Rosie the Riveters,” women who made invaluable contributions to the war effort by working in factories and shipyards.
