DFS Group marked the grand opening of its DFS Waikiki store Thursday, representing a post-pandemic sign of progress and vote of confidence for the state’s top tourism district.

DFS Waikiki, which caters to duty-free shoppers on one of the prime retail corners of Waikiki, closed in March 2020 but began the first phase of reopening in July and had a grand opening held on Thursday evening.
