Aerial footage of Lahaina on Thursday showed street after street reduced to gray and black rubble. Though pockets of wispy smoke remained, no active flames were visible from the air.

                                Volunteers loaded donated clothes and bedding Thursday at the War Memorial Complex in Wailuku. A convoy of Hawaii Foodservice Alliance trucks delivered the items to the Ritz-Carlton Maui in Kapalua, where a relief distribution site has been set up.
