Surfers face big waves at Ala Moana Bowls

High surf and gusty winds were too much for a sailing class out of Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor. A sailboat was towed after sustaining a torn sail during the afternoon class. The National Weather Service canceled a high-surf advisory Tuesday afternoon, but a small craft advisory is now in effect until 6 p.m. Thursday.
