The sailing ship Nippon Maru was greeted in the grand old style by a Navy band and hula performance as
it made its way to Honolulu Harbor’s Pier 2C, completing a run from Lahaina down the Molokai Channel.
The ship, heading home to Tokyo after participating in a Fourth of July “Tall Ships” parade in New York
Harbor, will hold an open house before it sets sail.
