Hawaii health director Dr. Libby Char this morning joined Spotlight Hawaii, a series from the Honolulu Star-Advertiser that shines a spotlight on issues affecting our islands.
During the show, she announced that Hawaii is reporting 622 new coronavirus infections, which is due to the highly contagious delta and a laboratory reporting problem earlier this week. She encouraged all residents who are eligible to get vaccinated.
