The Board of Water Supply on Monday will reopen its lobby at 630 S. Beretania St. by appointment during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for state holidays.

No appointment is necessary to make water and/or sewer bill payments.

The lobby had been remodeled and new procedures for conducting business are in place, including the wearing of masks, providing contact information, answering health screen questions and getting temperature checks.

In addition, a maximum number of two customers will be allowed at the cashier counter at a time, and a maximum of five customers will be allowed in the lobby at any time.

However, the board continues to encourage the public to use its customer services by phone or remotely when feasible.
