Meanwhile, UFC announced plans for Holloway (21-6) to fight Calvin Kattar (22-4) in a featherweight bout on Jan. 16 on its UFC Fight Night.

The bout will headline the UFC’s first fight card in 2021 and be Holloway’s first non-title fight since 2016.

He has lost three of his last four fights, including two decision losses to current champion Alexander Volkanovski.

Holloway remains ranked as the No. 1 contender at 145 pounds. Kattar, who dominated Kahuku alumnus Dan Ige to win a unanimous decision in his last fight, is ranked No. 6.
