Big waves attract bodyboarders to Sandy’s

Bodyboarders hit the surf at Sandy Beach on Thursday. A high surf advisory for east shores of Hawaii has been extended to Friday evening. Lifeguards at Sandy’s warned beachgoers of the dangerous conditions which included 8-foot face waves, riptides and a dangerous shorebreak.
