Polynesian Football Hall of Fame finalists announced
Legendary Noga brothers Alapati “Al” and Falaniko “Niko,” both former University defensive stars, are among 10 finalists for the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame class of 2021, it was announced today.
They are joined by quarterback Tony Banks, wide receiver Malcolm Floyd, coach and running back Tommy Kaulukukui, guard Chris Kemoeatu, guard Vince Manuwai, linebacker Rey Maualuga, offensive lineman Harry Montague-Field and coach Charlie Wedemeyer.
Three inductees will be announced on Nov. 18 from among the 10-member field.

They were selected from among more than 100 nominees by a committee that included chairman Jack Thompson, former coaches Ron McBride and Dick Vermeil, past inductees Olin Kreutz, Kevin Mawae and Ray Schoenke in addition to sportscasters Neil Everett, Steve Wyche and Robert Kekaula.
