Leahi Beach Park fence might block access to shoreline path indefinitely

The City is removing one of the fences they recently erected that is blocking sea wall footpath access between Makalei and Leahi Beach Parks. In 2018, the City settled a lawsuit by a plaintiff that fell and sustained injury while walking on the right-of-way near Leahi Beach Park. In an effort to avoid a similar incident from occurring in the future, the City recently erected fencing that restricts access to the area.
