Western Washington eliminates UH Hilo
The Hawaii Hilo women’s volleyball team saw its season come to an end on Thursday with a loss to No. 4 Western Washington, 26-24, 25-15, 25-23, in the first round of the NCAA Division II West Regional in San Bernardino, Calif.
Bria Beale led the Vulcans (23-8) with 15 kills and Kaila Lizama had 11 digs. Gabby Gunterman led the Vikings (27-2) with 13 kills and Calley Heilborn added nine.
