This week’s events leading up to the 47th Honolulu Marathon begin Thursday with the opening of the marathon expo at the Hawaii Convention Center and culminate with Sunday’s race.
The three-day Honolulu Marathon Expo opens at 9 a.m. and runs through 6 p.m. on Thursday, 7 p.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday.
Marathon weekend begins with the Kalakaua Merrie Mile on Saturday. The race begins at 7 a.m. near the Honolulu Zoo.
The Honolulu Marathon and Start to Park 10K start concurrently at 5 a.m. Sunday along Ala Moana Boulevard. The 10K will finish at Kapiolani Park. The 26.2-mile marathon course continues into Hawaii Kai and loops back to the finish line at Kapiolani Park.
Packet pick-up will be held at the expo and walk-in entries for all three events will be accepted at the expo until 5 p.m. Saturday. Online entry is closed.
Finishers can pick up their finisher certificates and meet the marathon champions on Monday at the convention center.
Close to 25,000 entrants are expected for the marathon, with another 3,000 for the Merrie Mile and 7,000 for the Start to Park 10K.
