Kahuku residents and their supporters gathered in Kalaeloa to protest and attempt to halt the transport of two semi-trucks carrying turbine pieces on Sunday evening. Over 25 people were arrested, including an 18-year-old male who was chained by his neck to the gate of the facility where the parts for turbine were hauled from. Pictured bound together in solidarity before their arrest are, from left to right, Jesse Cabael, Amanda Aquino, Kiana Lei, Alison Hartmann and Davina Sanders.
