Bryson Ho’s 5-yard touchdown run with two minutes left pushed the Wolfpack past the Golden Hawks for their first win of the season.
Pac-Five scored first with a 25-yard touchdown run on Ho’s first carry of the game. The Wolfpack kept their momentum with a 29-yard field goal by Giovanni Rufino midway through the second quarter.
Nanakuli quarterback Sedric Crawford was 0-for-7 passing in the first half but capped a fourth-quarter drive with a 27-yard touchdown pass to Gavin Vea-Flint. The Golden Hawks took their first lead with 3:39 remaining on a 6-yard touchdown run by Tahj Hauhio. A fumble on the extra-point attempt kept the score at 12-10.
The Wolfpack answered with Ho’s go-ahead touchdown run and ended the game with consecutive sacks on Crawford.
