All 13 University of Hawaii regular-season football games will be offered on local cable outlets this season.
Hawaiian Telcom and its rival, Spectrum, will make available seven games as part of their pay-per-view packages, while the CBS Sports Network will carry three games, ESPN will show two and the Pac-12 Network one.
It will be the ninth year since the launching of its TV service that Hawaiian Telcom offers the games in partnership with Spectrum, which holds the UH local TV rights.
Hawaiian Telcom’s prices — $69.99 for individual games, $349.99 for the seven-game package, and $69.98 for the two-game away pack — mirror those of Spectrum. The away package is available only to those with proof of being UH season ticket holders. There is no longer an “early bird” discount.
The games come with pre- and post-game shows.
Federal laws require that the competing cable entities provide access to NCAA Division I football and basketball only at a price. Volleyball is not required to be included.
Hawaiian Telcom customers can sign up by calling 643-4888. Individual games may be purchased on game day via TV remote control and following the prompts on channel 969.
