The recent shootings in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas, are indeed tragic.
The shooters appear to be deranged individuals with premeditative plans to kill people. Why?
Our country has lost the idea of human life being sacred. We’ve lost the idea of treating people the way we would like to be treated.
Is this a surprise when our country has legalized the breaking of the most loving bond in nature — that of maternal love?
This love-bond breaking with mothers killing their preborn children — and potential grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Every day across the nation, this permeates all of society and cheapens life at all stages.
Thus we’ve had killings at schools, bar shootings, an epidemic of self-killing, etc. Life has become very cheap.
Every life has value. All lives matter. Life is precious. Let’s rejoice in God’s wonderful gift of life.
