Gov. David Ige today will present Hawaii Green Business Program awards to 35 businesses and organizations for their efforts to save energy, recycle and conserve water.
The 2019 Hawaii Green Business Program awards ceremony will be at 9 a.m. in the governor’s ceremonial room at the state Capitol.
A number of hotels will be honored for steps made in reducing water use and recycling.
They include the Cliffs at Princeville, Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, Hale Koa Hotel, Hokulani Waikiki, Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach, Kahala Hotel & Resort, The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas and Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort.
