Hornswaggled again?
Development of “affordable” housing, the rail, Thirty Meter Telescope and now Sherwoods? Really? Isn’t it about time, after all the blunders, that our politicians stop deciding, dictating and pocketing money without hearing our opinions first?
Over the Fourth of July weekend I had an opportunity to camp at Sherwoods. This quiet, restful oasis tucked beneath the pines brought back sweet memories of when my children swam and played upon its shores.
Instead of wrecking the forest with yet another baseball diamond in Waimanalo, just swallow the $300,000 and do something to improve and maintain the unique beauty of this pristine gem nestled on our Windward shores.
