Conservative George Will’s recent column related to what might be called, “The Dark Side of Western Civilization History,” should sound an alarm bell with the electorate (“Today’s immigration debate more enlightened than past,” June 30). The faux science of eugenics (selective race breeding) and its accompanying political consequences once dominated conventional thinking.

Adolf Hitler did not rise to power in an intellectual vacuum; Donald Trump supporters should take notice.
