Letter: Case’s comments on plane crash ill-informed
U.S. Rep. Ed Case’s comments on the tragic aircraft accident are disgusting, to say the least (“Federal officials begin investigation of fatal plane crash in Mokuleia,” Star-Advertiser, June 24).
I’ve lost all respect for his opinion after his pompous grandstanding about “major safety concerns” when he has no clue about the accident’s cause. His belief that “people can just fly wherever they want whenever they want” shows complete ignorance of federal aviation regulations and Federal Aviation Administration rules for commercial and private aircraft and flight plans.
When Case pontificates over something he clearly knows nothing about, who can trust his opinion on anything?
