5 University of Hawaii football games to be televised nationally next season

The University of Hawaii football team will appear on national television five times this coming season, according to a schedule released today by the Mountain West Conference.

Among the national telecasts will be the Rainbow Warriors’ first and last games of the regular season.

The Warriors’ Aug. 24 season opener against Arizona at Aloha Stadium will be shown on CBS Sports Network. CBS Sports also will televise the Sept. 28 road game against Nevada and the Nov. 30 regular-season finale against Army.

UH’s Oct. 12 road game against Boise State and Oct. 19 home game against Air Force will be shown on one of the ESPN channels.

Spectrum Sports will show the remaining games live through pay-per-view and for free the day after.

The Warriors play 13 regular-season games this year.
