I am a senior who resides in Kakaako who again was denied Sunday bus service because of the Hapalua Half-Marathon.
We had to walk up to King Street in order to catch a bus to go shopping and attend services. To add to our dilemma, we couldn’t cross on Kapiolani on our return trip because these runners wouldn’t let us through. Why tie up these streets? Can’t the organizers come up with a more suitable area?
