Police seek man wanted for attempted kidnapping, assault in Kapolei
CrimeStoppers and Honolulu police are seeking the public’s help finding a man wanted for attempted kidnapping and second-degree assault in Kapolei.
The man is described as 5-feet-7-inches and about 150 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray shorts and slippers, and has cuts and round sores on his arms, according to a CrimeStoppers bulletin issued this morning.
At about 3:35 p.m. on April 8, police said, a woman was walking on Kuou Street in Kapolei when a juvenile female approached her, and asked for help because a man was following her. The woman intervened by pushing the man and telling the juvenile to leave, CrimeStoppers said.
Police said the man pushed the woman to the ground, cut her with a dangerous instrument, and fled.
