Kenya’s Josphat Kumutai Tanui crossed the finish line at 01:02:32 during the Hapalua half marathon on Sunday. Tanui chased down all the Team Hawaii members and pulled ahead of the last runner, Cindy Anderson, who had a 19 minute early start, in the last 50 yards of the marathon.
