Water restored, but repairs continue on Kapiolani fronting Kaimuki High
Water service has been restored as repairs continue on a broken 12-inch water main fronting Kaimuki High School on Kapiolani Boulevard at Kaimuki Avenue.
One mauka-bound lane on Kapiolani and the right turn lane from Kapiolani to Kaimuki remains closed, as does the left-turn lane from Kapiolani to Kaimuki.
The break occurred around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Board of Water Supply crews remain in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the area and use alternate routes if available.
