Some supposedly sane parents deny their children anti-measles vaccinations. Let them get sick? Good for them? Something ain’t right here. What kind of pseudo-religious deity or obtuse guru are they devoted to? It defies any common sense.
And what possesses us to permit unvaccinated kids to come to school and spread contagious measles to other kids? Something ain’t right here, either.
I grew up in Germany, probably the most advanced health-conscious country in the world. Seventeen Germans received Nobel Prizes in physiology or medicine. When it was vaccination day in school, all students from Grade 8 went in line at 8 a.m. At 9 a.m. all students from Grade 9 went in line. Et cetera.
There was no such nonsense, “My parents won’t let me get vaccinated.” Such gobbledygook simply didn’t exist. No way. We all got vaccinated.
