U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard hasn’t been around the block enough times and doesn’t have a clue that the very media that built her up will happily and savagely tear her down — Political Science 101 (“Gabbard seeks donations amid attack on media,” Star-Advertiser, March  Opens in a new tab16) Opens in a new tab.

She is doing the same whining and attacking as President Donald Trump and Rush Limbaugh. Discontent coming from both Republicans and Democrats give credence to the notion that the media will do just about anything to “create” a story even if there isn’t one. Probably true.

She puts herself on countless talk shows hoping for attention, and can’t handle the political fallout when the results are not what she expected. You can only go so far on a beautiful face, nice voice and fine articulation. Eventually you do have to have a better grasp of the enormous job you are seeking.

Why not be a good representative for Hawaii, gain more experience and then run for a higher office? Maybe later, Tulsi, but certainly not now.
