Democratic candidates for the 2020 presidential election have made unrealistic promises. They promise Medicare for all, free college education, a living wage for those who work and don’t work.
The Democrats favor a Green New Deal that saves our planet by eliminating power-generation plants and fossil fuel-powered transportation, and retrofitting all buildings. Their program will be funded by taxes on the rich at a 70 percent rate.
Democrats promise to repeal President Donald Trump’s tax-reform law of 2017 that resulted in the highest GDP and lowest unemployment rates in recent history.
Democrats must deliver on their promises. If they fail, state consumer protection agencies should investigate and prosecute the people responsible for causing injury to American consumers in the biggest scam in our nation’s history.
If Americans opt not to work, not to save for their living and education expenses and not to act to improve their status pending the implementation of the new free programs and suffer opportunity costs for self-improvement, someone needs to pay for this crime.
