There’s something about a catchy, heroic theme song that can make you, too, feel unstoppable. Enjoy an evening filled with such memorable tunes at “Superhero Soundtrack,” a Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra concert Friday at Blaisdell Concert Hall.
The concert is a must for parents and children alike, said Maestro Stuart Chafetz, who will conduct an iconic program that includes the theme from “The Avengers” and music from “Batman.”
“This program is perfect for families because it really includes something for everyone,” Chafetz said. “From the classic William Tell/’Lone Ranger’ theme to ‘Spiderman’ to ‘Wonder Woman.’ Plus, ‘The Incredibles’ — a superhero family!”
But the fun isn’t all in the music.
“My absolute favorite part is seeing everyone dressed up in superhero costumes,” Chafetz said. “The HSO is planning a costume contest, so come early to enter.” Costumed villains are welcome, too.
