>> 6-by-6-inch piece of red paper (You can use cardstock but thinner copy-weight or construction paper will be easier to work with.)

Instructions:
1. Holding the paper so that it appears diamond- shaped, fold the top point down to the bottom point, forming a triangle. Crease well.
2. Fold the bottom point and up to the center crease. Crease well.
3. Fold the right side point and down to the bottom point. Crease well.
4. Tuck the point into the pocket.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the left side to create the bookmark base.
6. Cut the bottom square side on each side to the center point, shaping it into a heart.
7. Flip over and tuck onto a page to use as a bookmark. You can write a message or add stickers to embellish it. You can also fill the pocket with a treat first to give it away for Valentine’s Day.
