>> Liam Fitzgerald, Leilehua ’18: The Whitworth (Wash.) freshman forward was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line to finish with a career-high 10 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal in 10 minutes of a 116-107 win over Pacific (Ore.) on Friday.
>> Chris Kobayashi, Punahou ’17: The Pacific (Ore.) sophomore guard went 2-for-6 from the 3-point line to score six points in 21 minutes in the loss to the Pirates. Kobayashi, who was 4-for-4 from 3 and scored 12 points in a loss to Whitman (Wash.) the next night, has started five games this season and has made 26 3s this season.
>> Hugh Hogland, ‘Iolani ’17: The Portland sophomore center had eight points and two rebounds in an 83-61 loss to San Francisco on Thursday and five points and four boards in a 74-70 loss to Pacific (Calif.) on Saturday. Hogland is averaging 4.6 points and 3.1 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game for the Pilots, who are 8-15 overall and 0-7 in the West Coast Conference.
>> Tolu Smith, Kahuku ’18: The Western Kentucky forward is averaging 3.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in 9.8 minutes as a freshman for the Hilltoppers (11-10, 4-4 Conference USA).
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
>> Jasmine Moody, Radford ’15: The Brigham Young senior forward posted her first career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench of a 65-56 win over San Diego on Saturday. Moody is averaging 6.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game for the Cougars (17-3, 9-0 WCC), who have won 11 straight games.
>> Chanelle Molina, Konawaena ’16: The Washington State junior guard played all 40 minutes and finished with 18 points on 7-for-16 shooting with seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in a 79-64 loss to No. 5 Oregon on Friday. Molina is second on the team averaging 15.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and leads the Cougars (7-13, 2-7 Pac-12) averaging 5.1 assists per contest.
>> Fieme’a Hafoka, Lahainaluna ’16: The San Jose State junior guard finished with 12 points, three rebounds and two assists in an 88-77 loss to Air Force on Saturday. Hafoka has started every game this season and leads the Spartans averaging 9.2 points per game.
>> Va’e Malufau, Punahou ’16: The Utah Valley sophomore forward finished with a season-high 12 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal in 20 minutes off the bench of a 76-61 win over Chicago State on Saturday.
>> Alexis Pana, Hilo ’16: The Central Washington junior guard finished with 14 points on 4-for-7 shooting and added four assists, four rebounds and three steals in a 76-61 win over Western Washington on Saturday. Pana leads the Wildcats (12-5, 7-3 GNAC) in points per game (15.4), assists (95), steals (39) and 3-point shooting (52.1 percent, 38-for-73).
>> Alexis Delovio, Maryknoll ’16: The Menlo (Calif.) junior guard finished with 15 points on just six field-goal attempts with six rebounds, four assists and a steal in a 76-68 win over Hope International on Saturday. Delovio is averaging 7.2 points and has started 19 of 21 games for the Oaks (16-5, 17-4 GSAC), who are ranked No. 13 in the NAIA.
>> Dakota Viena, Maryknoll ’18: The Hope International forward finished with 11 points, five rebounds, three steals and an assist in the loss to Menlo. Viena is tied for second on the team with 34 assists and has started seven games.
>> Rhianne Omori, Maryknoll ’18: The Hope International guard had five points, four rebounds, two steals and an assist against Menlo. Omori is second on the team averaging 9.4 points per game and leads the squad with 36 assists and 42 steals in 20 games with seven starts.
>> Ysabelle Hanohano, Maryknoll ’18: The Hope International freshman guard has started eight of 20 games and is averaging 3.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. She leads the Royals shooting 38.5 percent (10-for-26) from the 3-point line.
>> Rose Shimaoka, Kaiser ’16: The Cornell (Iowa) College junior guard leads the team in scoring averaging 9.9 points with team highs in assists (35) and steals (26).
MEN’S SWIMMING
>> MJ Mao, Maryknoll ’17: The Wisconsin sophomore won the 100 breaststroke (54.28 seconds), 200 breast (2:00.37) and 100 butterfly (48.41) in a dual-meet sweep of Iowa and Northwestern last Saturday.
WOMEN’S SWIMMING
>> Lena Hayakawa, Mid-Pacific ’14: The Tulane senior won the 100-yard butterfly in 57.50 seconds and swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team in a dual-meet win over West Florida on senior day on Saturday. Hayakawa also finished second in the 200 butterfly and 200 freestyle relay.
>> Cameron Lyon, Punahou ’17: The Whitworth (Wash.) redshirt freshman won three individual events for the Pirates in a dual-meet tie against Whitman (Wash.) on Saturday in the final meet before the Northwest Conference Championships. Lyon won the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:27.08), 200 butterfly (2:13.88) and 100 butterfly (1:00.64).
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
>> Wil Stanley, Punahou ’16: The Brigham Young junior had 53 assists, 10 digs, three block assists and a kill in a five-set win over Penn State last Friday. Stanley has started all four matches and is averaging 10.07 assists per set for the third-ranked Cougars (4-0).
>> Emmett Enriques, KS-Hawaii ’15: The Cal State Northridge senior libero had a team-high 11 digs and three assists in a five-set loss to Lewis on Saturday.
>> Micah Ma’a, Punahou ’15: The UCLA senior setter had a match-high 47 assists, four digs and three aces in a four-set win over UC San Diego on Friday. Through eight matches, Ma’a is averaging 10.58 assists per set.
>> Austin Matautia, Moanalua ’16: The UCLA junior outside hitter hit .333 with 11 kills, seven digs and a block assist in the win over the Tritons. Matautia is averaging 2.28 kills per set.
WOMEN’S WATER POLO
>> Emalia Eichelberger, Punahou ’16: The Stanford sophomore goalkeeper played the first three quarters in net and made eight saves in a 19-4 win over San Jose State on Sunday to help the Cardinal finish the California Cup 3-0 to start the season.
>> Pua Wong, KS-Hawaii ’15: The Cal Baptist senior scored once in a 10-6 win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday.
>> Nohea Kahaulelio, Kahuku ’15: The Pomona-Pitzer senior scored one goal in each of the Sagehens’ first two games of the season — a 9-6 loss to Azusa Pacific and a 13-6 defeat to Loyola Marymount on Saturday.
>> Malia Gacutan, Punahou ’17: The Villanova sophomore scored twice in the Wildcats’ season opener — a 20-12 loss to Harvard on Sunday.
WOMEN’S WRESTLING
>> Taryn Ichimura, Punahou ’17: The Menlo (Calif.) sophomore finished in second place at 116 pounds going 4-1 with a loss to a teammate in the final at the Oregon Classic College Women Open last Saturday.
>> Angela Peralta, Radford ’17: The Menlo sophomore finished third at 143 pounds with a 2-2 record at the Oregon Classic College Women Open. Peralta had to forfeit her final two matches after reaching the first-place match.
>> Laynee Pasion, St. Francis ’17: The Menlo sophomore finished 2-2 at 130 pounds at the Oregon Classic College Women Open.
