Mott 32, a contemporary Chinese restaurant in The Palazzo at the Venetian Hotel and Resort, is both a visual and culinary experience. When you walk into the restaurant, the decor transports you.
I started with the Hot & Sour Iberico Pork Shanghainese Soup Dumplings. For the main course, I had a delicious crab casserole. And for dessert, I had the Bamboo Green Forest, which starts with a layer of yuzu cream topped with yogurt, lime sorbet, matcha sponge cake, crispy yogurt and finished with white chocolate bamboo.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve eaten out a lot and it is one of the top five places I’ve ever been. Open daily 5-11 p.m. Details at mott32.com/lasvegas.
I also highly recommend Top of the World at the Stratosphere, not only an engineering marvel but a dining delight. Enjoy some amazing views of the Strip while dining on the amazing food. The set menu includes chopped salad, crab cake, filet mignon and spumoni for $104. I highly recommend Top of the World. See more at topoftheworldlv.com.
