In lieu of chain-link fence sections covered by black fabric, it appears that developers are making an effort to provide some comfort and enjoyment by erecting plywood fences and painting them.
The painting might be a multicolored panel or murals. On McCully Street the wall has paintings and wood cutouts.
In Chinatown, a dancer and dragon are featured on Nimitz Highway.
In Kalihi, a train that depicts the old Oahu railway lines is on the wall on Dillingham Boulevard.
These efforts are appreciated and hopefully other developers will be as creative.
