The top South Korean boy band BTS filmed their sold-out concert in Seoul last year and will be screening it in U.S. movie theaters on Jan. 26. Presented by Pathe Live and Fathom Events, “BTS World Tour Love Yourself in Seoul” will be shown at Regal theaters in Honolulu, Kapolei, Pearl City and Kahalui. On another note: Sony Open in Hawaii week starts Monday at the Waialae Country Club. South Korean golfers who are scheduled to appear are Sang-moon Bae, Sung-jae Im, Sung Kang, Si-woo Kim and Kyoung-hoon Lee. Local amateur qualifier Peter Jung, a sophomore at Maryknoll High School, will also make his PGA debut.
KJ Choi from South Korea won the Sony Open in Hawaii in 2008. Last year, Korean-American PGA golfer James Hahn lost to Patton Kizzire on the sixth playoff hole.
