I agree with James Metz, who wrote in to say that he did not want to see violent pictures in the Sports section (“Don’t publish violent boxing photographs,” Star-Advertiser, Letters, Dec. 17).

Bashing in each other’s heads is not a sport. I can almost guarantee that the people who enjoy watching MMA or UFC are not the same people who are reading your paper.

Thanks to Mr. Metz for saying something. We have enough sad and violent things going on in this world without being assaulted with these images first thing in the morning.
